Assessment of Recapitalisation Assistance |
1. Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
Special Audit conducted in 2705 PACS out of 2738 PACS affiliated to 22 CCBs and in 200 PACS ceded to Commercial Banks/ RRBs. Respective DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of these PACS to SLIC. Total financial package assessed and recommended by SLIC for release so far is detailed below:

The Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act 1964 amended through the AP Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act 2007 and Official Gazette notification issued on 16 April 2007. |
Introduction of CAS/MIS |
Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS) for PACS and Manual on CAS/MIS have been circulated amongst PACS by the RCS. The process of printing of registers for CAS is complete and the registers are being distributed to PACS for implementation of CAS for year 2008-09 onwards. |
HRD Initiatives |
- APCOB-CTI identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the state.
- 33 master trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members
- 61 District Level Trainers (DLTs) trained by the Master Trainers
- DLTs imparted training to 3012 PACS functionaries and 2892 elected members at District / Taluka level.
