Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
Special Audit conducted in 20791 PACS out of 20914 PACS affiliated to 31 CCBs. Respective DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of these PACS to SLIC. Total financial package assessed and recommended by SLIC for release so far is detailed below:

Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act 1960 amended through Maharashtra Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Act, 2008 and Official Gazette Notification issued on 02 May 2008. |
Introduction of CAS/MIS |
Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS) for PACS and Manual on CAS/MIS have been circulated amongst PACS by the RCS. The printing of registers for CAS is under process. |
HRD Initiatives |
- MSCB identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the state.
- 20 master trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members
- 206 District Level Trainers (DLTs) trained by the Master Trainers
- DLTs imparted training to 11,191 PACS functionaries and 32,342 elected members at District / Taluka level.
