Assessment of Recapitalisation Assistance |
1. Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
Special Audit conducted in 5153 PACS/ Farmers’ Service Society (FSS) out of 5259 affiliated to 28 CCBs. Respective DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of these PACS to SLIC. Total financial package assessed and recommended by SLIC for release so far is detailed below: (Rs. crore)

Special audit of CCBs has been completed. |
Cooperative Reforms |
Draft of amendments to be made to the Rajasthan Cooperative Societies Act, 2001 prepared by the State Government, was vetted NABARD. State Government to finalise the same. |
Introduction of CAS/MIS |
Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS) for PACS and Manual on CAS/MIS have been circulated amongst PACS by the RCS. The printing of registers for CAS is under process. |
HRD Initiatives |
- Rajasthan Institute of Cooperative Management (RICEM) identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the state.
- 17 master trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members
- 152 District Level Trainers (DLTs) trained by the Master Trainers
DLTs imparted training to 5254 PACS functionaries and 7672 elected members at District / Taluka level. |
Computerisation of CAS and MIS in PACS |
Awarding of tender has been completed for software development. |
