1. Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
Special Audit conducted in 6648 PACS out of 7251 PACS affiliated to 50 CCBs. Respective DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of these PACS to SLIC. Total financial package assessed and recommended by SLIC for release so far is detailed below: |

Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act 1965 amended through Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Societies (Third Amendment) Act, 2007 and Official Gazette issued on 10 December 2007. |
Introduction of CAS/MIS |
Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS) for PACS and Manual on CAS/MIS have been circulated amongst PACS by the RCS. Registers as per the new formats have been printed by one CCB and distributed amongst the PACS. In respect of other CCBs the process is under progress. |
HRD Initiatives |
- UP Cooperative Bank identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the state.
- 24 master trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members
- 86 District Level Trainers (DLTs) trained by the Master Trainers
- DLTs imparted training to 5803 PACS functionaries at District / Taluka level.
