Assessment of Recapitalisation assistance |
1. Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
Special Audit conducted in 729 PACS out of 753 PACS affiliated to 10 DCCBs. Respective DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of these PACS to SLIC. SLIC is yet to finalise the recapitalisation assistance.
2) Special Audit of Central Cooperative Banks (CCBs)

Cooperative Reforms |
Amendments to the CS Act were discussed with the State Govt. by NABARD. The Draft of “ The Uttarakhand Cooperative Societies (Amendment Act, 2007) Act” finalised by NABARD has been handed over to State Govt. for making necessary amendments in the Act. A high level committee has been formed at the State level to review the draft amendments in the State CS Act and Self Reliant Act. |
Introduction of CAS/MIS |
Common Accounting System (CAS) and Management Information System (MIS) for PACS and Manual on CAS/MIS have been circulated amongst PACS by the RCS. Printing of registers for CAS/MIS is under process. |
HRD Initiatives |
- Institute of Cooperative Management, Dehradun has been identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the State.
- 09 master trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members.
