1. Special Audit of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS)
Special Audit conducted in 5275 PACS out of 7533 PACS affiliated to 17 CCBs and 3 ROs of WBSCB. 11 DLICs have recommended recapitalisation assistance on behalf of 3193 PACS to SLIC. Total financial package assessed and recommended by SLIC for release so far is detailed below: |

HRD Initiatives |
- WBSCB and Academy of Cooperative Management, Research and Training (ACMART) identified as nodal agency to coordinate and organise training programmes for capacity building in the state.
- 7 master trainers trained by BIRD, Lucknow on training modules for PACS Secretaries and elected members
- 168 District Level Trainers (DLTs) trained by the Master Trainers
- DLTs imparted training to 6600 PACS functionaries and 6800 elected members at District / Taluk level.

Computerisation of CAS and MIS in PACS |
Printing of books and ledgers for PACS has been initiated.
60 participants fromm CCBs and Cooperative Audit Department have been imparted training under CAS |
