As decided by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the first week of June i.e., 4 to 8 June 2018, will be observed as Financial Literacy Week with the theme of “Consumer Protection”. The theme has been chosen to create awareness among the consumers of financial services about their rights, responsibilities, good practices and resolution mechanisms. Financial Literacy posters have been prepared by RBI on the following four topics for the trainers and general public :
1. Risk vs. Return
2. Grievance Redress Mechanism
3. Customer Liability for Unauthorized Electronic Banking Transactions and
4. Good Practices for a Safe Digital Banking Experience
You are requested to conduct, through your Financial Literacy Centres, special camps on each of the five days of the Financial Literacy Week in backward/unbanked areas, covering the above topics.
The posters and other promotional material for the FL week will be printed by RBI. (Sample A4 size English Version of the posters are attached herewith). Please ensure that the posters in local language are displayed at the prominent place (s) inside the branch premises for at least six months after the Financial Literacy Week. You may contact our respective Regional Office for the posters and other promotional material.
