NABARD provided a loan to the State Government for renovation/ reconstruction of Thwai-U-Riang Dolloi
A major chunk of the canal re-designed with new conveyance capacity
Distribution lines revived in the command area
THE IMPACT
The initiative has impacted 180 ha of land positively
Adequate water supply has brought 90 percent of the land under cultivation in the Kharif season
Kharif paddy production, on an average, rose from 1.30MT/ha to 2.30MT/ha
Growth in number of farmers taking up vegetable production
