  • NABARD supported establishment of a processing centre in association with KINFRA and the Coffee Board
  • A state-of-the-art facility was set up with modern machines for cleaning, grading and processing coffee, pepper, ginger, turmeric, vegetables, various tubers, roots and jackfrui
  • A complete set of capacity-building initiatives to help farmers develop skills

THE IMPACT

  • 10,559 farmers registered with APEDA for organic certification covering
  • 7,618 farmers Of this, the produce of 2,557ha. has been certified as organic
  • Increase in the processing capacity of the unit
  • Remunerative prices for farm products in the international market
