THE SOLUTION

• Under a project sanctioned by NABARD to the Azagar Social Circle, SHG members were given loans to purchase a pump set and a power tiller
• Options were provided for creating enterprises in the village itself

THE IMPACT

• Check in rural migration
• Growth of SHGs has led to financial inclusion and economic prosperity
• The project highlighted the power of collective bargaining
