Hon'ble Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman addressed the 231st meeting of the Board of Directors of NABARD in New Delhi today.
Dr. Harsh Kumar Bhanwala, Chairman, NABARD welcomed the FM and briefed her about the agenda of the meeting.
Addressing the members of the Board, the FM outlined the Government's initiatives aimed at the development of rural India. She exhorted all to take necessary measures to obviate the possibility of rural distress at any cost. Further, the FM stressed on the need to increase credit flow at a faster pace.
