The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance (2019-20) visited Mumbai during 16th to 18th January 2020. Shri Jayant Sinha, Chairman of the Committee and other members had an informal discussion with Chairman, NABARD on overall performance and on the subject ‘Financing rural development including appraisal of NABARD’s role'. The members of the Committee were welcomed by Dr. Harsh Kumar Bhanwala, Chairman NABARD. A presentation on the functions and various interventions of NABARD was made by Chairman and various queries of the Committee members were also clarified.
