NABARD signed Letter of Intent (LOI) with Rabo Partnerships B.V. on 25th September 2024 at NABARD Head Office, to promote digitisation of rural financial services, enhance sustainable agriculture development and improve livelihood of especially the small and marginal farmers. This marks the beginning of a series of significant engagements between NABARD and Rabo Partnerships B.V.

LoI was signed by Shri Goverdhan Singh Rawat, Deputy Managing Director, NABARD on behalf of NABARD, while Mr. David Gerbrands, Global head Advisory & Ventures, Rabo Partnerships (RP), signed on behalf of Rabo Partnerships B.V. in presence of Mr. Bjorn Schrijver,Asia Lead, RP; Shri Manikumar S, CGM, SPPID and Shri Sanjay Kumar Gupta, CGM, CSDD.

NABARD and Rabo Partnerships B.V. are dedicated to broaden this collaboration, aiming to promote digitisation of rural financial services and enhance sustainable agriculture development. Under the LoI, NABARD and Rabo Partnerships B.V. aim to form a strategic partnership in developing products for strengthening FPOs/PACS while also addressing challenges faced by landless/tenant farmers. The strategic, yet dynamic, cooperation shall also identify other areas,in due course, to take this bilateral engagement forward.
