Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow, a learning Centre of NABARD, has been identified by Government of India as the nodal institution at the central level for capacity building of various stakeholders under Central Sector Scheme on Formation & Promotion of 1000 FPOs. In order to promote Agri-exports through FPOs, BIRD, Lucknow is organizing a National Webinar on ‘Empowering FPOs for Agri-Exports’ for the benefit of FPOs, Implementing Agencies, CBBOs, FPO promoting agencies, Training Institutions and other stake holders involved in FPO eco-system.

Dr. G.R. Chintala, Chairman, NABARD will deliver the Keynote Address and special addresses will be given by Dr M Angamuthu, IAS, Chairman APEDA, Govt. of India and Shri Diwakar Nath Mishra, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India.
