Continuing with the celebrations of 37th Foundation Day of NABARD, Chairman Shri Harsh Kumar Bhanwala today addressed the officers and staff members of the institution across the country over video conferencing facility. In a freewheeling speech, he took everyone through the 36 years of glorious journey NABARD has traversed and reiterated the apex development bank’s commitment to serve rural India. He expressed pleasure in the tremendous progress NABARD has achieved during the last four years by engaging itself in different spheres of agricultural and rural development activities. Maintaining that there is still an unfinished agenda present before NABARD, he urged upon the staff members to rededicate themselves to complete the job at the earliest. In this connection, he outlined a roadmap for NABARD indicating various areas to be focused in the coming years. Both the Deputy Managing Directors, Shri H R Dave and Shri R Amalorpavanathan also shared their views and urged the nabardians to work devotedly to achieve the bank’s vision of fostering rural prosperity.
