Senior officials of MoEF&CC, GoI and eminent experts from prominent organizations such as UN Environment, GCF, Adaptation Fund, GiZ, ICAR and NABARD called for evolving strategies for promotion and financing of climate resilient agricultural technologies and practices to beat the adverse impact of climate change and reduce vulnerabilities in affected hot-spots at the event hosted by NABARD at COP24, Katowice, Poland on 6th December 2018.  The brainstorming session was attended by delegates from across the world.  There was a consensus on adopting a science based approach to identification of vulnerabilities and evolving area specific climate resilient agricultural models.  In another panel discussion at the event, experts also deliberated the need and approaches for developing Climate Resilient Smart Cities.
