Chennai: NABARD has sanctioned Rs 2485 crore for three projects under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) and NABARD Infrastructure Development Assistance (NIDA) for two Combined Drinking Water Supply Schemes for Salem and Sivagangai districts in Tamilnadu with an amount of Rs 2066 crore to provide drinking water for a population of 17.50 lakh.

 

According to S Selvaraj, Chief General Manager, NABARD Tamilnadu Regional Office, Rs 419 crore has been sanctioned for Establishment of Advanced Institute for Integrated Research on Livestock and Animal Sciences (AIRLIVAS) at Thalaivasal, Salem district.
