Bhubaneswar: CBSE class X results delay leads to anxiety among students

The marks of students were counted in the form of cumulative grade point average (CGPA), which is the average of grade points achieved in all the subjects. However, the board has decided to replace the grades with marks from next year.

In Delhi Public School Kalinga a total 238 students appeared the exam out of which 56 scholars have secured 10 CGPA, 138 students have secured 9 CGPA and above and 191 have scored more than 8 CGPA. Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School secured 100% result with of the total 244 students, 104 securing 10 CGPA.

In SAI International School 47 % students secured 10 CGPA and all 171 passed in first division. Of the total students 94.7% secured more than 75% of marks and 66% of students secured above 90% marks. "After a long wait the result of Class X was more like a happy shower on a hot afternoon," said principal of the school Harish Sanduja.

Of the total 273 students of DAV Public School, Unit 8, 102 students have added the feather of success by getting CGPA 10. Out of 139 students of ODM Public School 53 students secured CGPA-10 and 83 students scored above CGPA-9. Overall 129 students were credited with CGPA-8.
