Towards Inclusive India

An India that is inclusive means an India that encompasses all the people who live on this land mass. Here, people are not excluded from the development of the country, and the country is governed by the principles established in our constitution. Nonetheless, we are aware of the vulnerabilities of the rural population. At NABARD, we believe that each individual resident of rural India has the potential to become an active contributor to India's growth. The need is to empower them and we have been enabling them through our several initiatives, which focus on financial inclusion, skill development, women empowerment through Self-help groups (SHGs), Joint liability groups (JLGs), Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDPs), Livelihood and Enterprise Development Programmes (LEDPs), clusters, etc.
