Belgaum under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF)
The Impact:
- Radical change in the animal husbandry scenario in the area

Artificial insemination came as a boon for poor farmers looking for quality
animals
- Substantial control of contagious diseases
- Almost 50 per cent increase in milk procurement
