NABARD has set up Chair Units in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Institute of Rural Management, Anand. The objective of the NABARD Chair Unit Scheme is to encourage applied and empirical research in the field of agriculture and rural development. The areas of research under the scheme include Climate Change, Rural Livelihood, Financial Inclusion, Value Chain Management, Agriculture Marketing and Financial Product Development and any other topics demanded by NABARD for business development and addressing policy changes.
