The Foundation Day of NABARD was celebrated in a glittering function at the Head Office on 12th July 2013. The foundation day programmes began with lighting of lamp by Dr Prakash Bakshi, Chairman, Shri V. Ramakrishna Rao, Executive Director and Shri Jayant Patil, Chairman, Raigad DCC Bank. After Saraswati Vandana, the participants were warmly welcomed by Shri V. Ramakrishna Rao. Dr Prakash Bakshi delivered the foundation day message and launched the new website of NABARD. A film on Raigad DCC Bank was released by Dr Prakash Bakshi and the first copy was received by Shri Jayant Patil. The foundation day celebration was also marked by colourful cultural performances by staff of NABARD. The meeting came to an end with the vote of thanks by J.C. Mahanta, DGM.
