NABARD in its role as National Implementing Entity (NIE) for National Adaptation Fund for Climate Change (NAFCC) organised a review meeting for NAFCC projects during 15 – 16 February 2018 at its Head Office, Mumbai which was attended by senior level officials from 21 State Governments and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
Shri H R Dave, DMD, NABARD appreciated Government of India for its initiative of setting up a domestic fund dedicated exclusively for adaptation initiatives as there are only few countries which have set up a domestic fund for adaptation. Such initiatives of Government of India has further strengthened India’s leadership role at various international fora as such stature comes not from words but from concrete actions.
Progress made under all the projects were reviewed critically by Smt. T S Raji Gain, CGM, FSPD during 15 – 16 February 2018.
