Central Vigilance Department (CVD) is headed by the Chief Vigilance Officer and is assisted by a DGM, AGM and 2 Assistant Managers and clerical staff. In addition to dealing with matters concerning vigilance cases of employees, furnishing of required information to RBI, CBI, CVC, DFS, MoF-GoI, CVD looks into the various complaints received from various sources and also issues NOC's sought by HRMD etc.
 
(ii) The powers and duties of its officers and employees
The officers are empowered to look into the complaints keeping in view the guidelines set by CVC, GoI and submit its report to them.
 
(iii) Procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability
Officers in grade A, C, D look into the complaints received and put up the same to CVO, who takes the final decision.
 
(iv) Norms set by it for the discharge of its functions
Central Vigilance Commission guidelines on the subject are being followed.
 
(v) Rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions.

There are no documents held in the custody of CVD.
